Hi there!
We are Nanna and Emma two young danish girls who met each other in high school 6 years ago. We both grew up on farms around animals and nature and now we share the dream of rediscovering nature and reconnect with animals and gardening. We are travelling to explore different cultures, languages and people and we are excited to meet you!

Emma: A little about me: I grew up on a farm with a big garden and animals all around me, including chickens, pigs, dogs, and cats. Later we moved to the city and I discovered I miss nature it is something I would like to connect with and rediscover so I would like to work with animal horses especially and learn more about agriculture. It is not a secret that I love food and cooking has been a new hobby of mine and I would love to learn recipes from different parts of the world. Besides that, I like being creative and I spend a lot of time sewing these days.

Nanna: I am excited to return to the workaway lifestyle since I had two amazing experiences in 2023 staying with two different families in Italy. I have been living in Berlin for the past two years and have been enjoying the many possibilities of the city as well as practising my german and experiencing living abroad. I am interessted in language and cultur exhange and it is now my dream to travel with Emma, see more of the world and connect with new people out in beautiful nature. I love reading and being out in nature.

Together we have expertise in child care, animal care, agroculture, cooking and teaching. We both love being outdoors and we would like to give a helping hand with projects and gain more skills in the process. We both love animals especially horses and it´s a common dream to help out on a horse farm.

And most importantly; we are good company:)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

After graduating highschool we have been working and traveling.

Nanna have worked as:
- Cleaning assistant
- Theater assistant
- Child carer and substitute teacher (children from 9 months to 15 year old)
- Receptionist at museum
- Seller in New Balance
- Front staff in bakery
As workaway:
- Animal care (chickens, geese, dogs)
- Planting vegtables, watering, plucking, general maintaince of kitchen garden
- Child care, playing, daytrips and helping practising english

Emma have worked as:
- Cook and seller at a Food stall
- Manager at amusement park
-Child carer and substitute teacher (children from 6 to 15 year old)
- Voluntary millitary service for 4 months

These years have been busy and we have enjoyed doing different things and learning about various fields.

We know our way around horses and are both fair riders, but we are used to be with other riders more experienced than ourselfes and leaned on their know-how. We love horses and other animals and hope to learn more about them. We enjoy physical work and would love to work together and learn from others.

Was noch ...

We like to do activities together such as swimming, talking, reading, cooking, board games, and watching movies. We know each other well, but due to sabbatical years, we haven't had the opportunity to be together as much as we used to, so this trip is also a trip to discover new sides of each other and make our friendship grow even stronger. So hopefully you can use our help, we would definitely be excited to hear from you.
