I'm a young lad from Bavaria in Germany. After I finished school in 2017, I've been workawaying throughout Scotland for a year. After some internships as a furnituremaker I went workawaying Norway in 2019, before returning to Scotland to build a logcabin with a friend of mine in 2020.
And well, in those past years I've had some amazing experiences with lots of different hosts.
I have done heaps of different tasks starting with guestroom turnovers and childcare over loging, crabfishing, beach cleaning, pruning trees, fencing, building sheds (later cabins), all the way to helping with lambs&sheep. I've also been lucky enough to discover a huge passion of mine in building boats.
I'm an optimistic outgoing and easy to handle person that loves being outside. I very much like working with wood, no matter whether it's building, repairing or carving sth creative.
Currently I'm looking for a nice workaway from late-April until June, maybe longer. My English is good and I also speak a little Norwegian, although that is on a very poor level.
By now I should be able to cope with almost every kind of work in almost any kind of weather.
Hope that text answered a few questions about myself, but feel free to ask if there is anything else you'd like to know.
I've got basic building skills mainly with timber. I also did a bit of lime mortaring and pouring concrete.
I can weld, dry stone wall and generally I'll give my best to do any work that needs to be done, I'm quite practical and with the internet being at hand, there's almost always a way.
As I've got two little brothers and a lot of younger kids in my neighborhood, I'm quite patient and enjoy playing with children. (I got actually called a "Manny" by a host once.)

I love working with wood and enjoy doing things outside, no matter the weather and am fairly interested in history, especially in the stone/bronze age and the Viking age.
