I would LOVE to visit every national park. I am hoping to workaway my way across America and take day trips on my downtime.

Beschreibung

I have taken care of sheep and chickens, collected eggs, mowed grass, planted corn, stacked wood, harvested mushrooms, and installed insulation. I also have experience planting peppers, cauliflower, eggplant, basil, and flowers.

My father owns a landscaping company I helped with after taking Urban Conservation & Landscaping in a trade school—mowing and pruning. I grew up on a horse farm in rural Ohio and occasionally helped out. I’m eager to learn every aspect of planting, growing, harvesting, and preserving crops. I would also appreciate learning beekeeping, making tinctures, pickling, sugaring, making beer and wine, animal husbandry and milking, cheese making.

I am transitioning from a life of work in the service industry into an emerging author. I am writing my first novel—literary slipstream with contemporary themes. I am also a visual artist. I love drawing, painting, photography and any kind of craft projects. I enjoy being outdoors, whether I’m hiking in a forest or going on a 10 mile walk of urban exploration in a major city. I also enjoy a cozy night in. Bring on the board games! Yes to independent films.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I was a professional nanny the past 4 years, and also babysat regularly. I’m comfortable with kids age newborn to teen, and have excellent references. I’m also happy to help with homework or school projects.

I worked as a housekeeper and find any kind of cleaning, organizing, and laundry to be therapeutic. It’s how I meditate in motion.

I am skilled at cooking and baking, and love to share meals with people.

Was noch ...

I can be quiet and contemplative, or just deeply listening. Other times I can talk a great deal, if I think others are interested in what I’m saying. I consider myself an intuitive extrovert. I love meeting new people and being around others, but I’m not going to talk someone’s ear off when they’re not genuinely engaged in the conversation. I go to bed early and wake early. I read, meditate, and write in quiet hours. I love exploring little towns, going to farmers markets, and swimming in natural bodies of water. Please show me local gems. :)
