Warm greetings! I am Mira - a traveling artist finding freedom in living a simple life close to the spirit of nature. I began traveling in 2022 and love to work with people on making beautiful homes and farms all over the world.

I enjoy working on daily chores that involve animal care, gardening, land management, or home-improvement/building projects. As a graphic designer, I can also help create content for social media and marketing.

I am also happy to help you cook and share recipes, basic cleaning and organizing, and some childcare as a natural part of sharing space in a family environment.

In my free time I enjoy quiet surroundings where I can explore local nature and village life at a slow pace. I read, write, make music and art, hike, star-gaze, and contemplate life to entertain myself while traveling. Would also love to share activities together if you have time!

Outside of WorkAway I have volunteered and lived as part of intentional communities. Communication, sharing responsibility and contributing positively to community is very important to me.

*I have no dietary restrictions - I can eat vegetarian, meat, dairy and like to try different foods.

ANIMALS:
_Donkeys, horses, ponies: feeding, haltering, cleaning stalls, building fences. Beginning massage and shiatsu.
_Goats: milking, making cheese, shepherding.
_Sheep: feeding, placing electric fences.
_Chickens: feeding, general care.
_Grew up caring for cats and dogs.
Interested in learning to care for any animal. I love them all!

LAND & GARDEN:
_Permaculture gardening, hoop houses, and rustic backyard gardens.
_Orchards (blueberries and strawberries).
_Raking, composting, cutting grass, trimming vegetation and other basic yard work chores.
_Chopping wood (small-medium pieces) - I'd like to learn how to use a chainsaw! :)

BUILDING:
_Painting, Carpentry, Tiling.
Comfortable using most power-tools and hand-tools (drills and drivers for wood or masonry, circular saw, table saw, jig-saw, router, nail-gun, etc.) _Can work on basic renovation tasks independently or with guidance on more complex projects.

CREATIVE:
_Graphic Design / Photography / Video
_ Artisan in Bookbinding / Printmaking / Leatherwork / Painting / Music

Managed my own property listing in the US and achieved “super host” rating for my attention to detail and creating exceptional comfort for each guest.
_Guest reception for agro-tourism bed and breakfast in France
Kept spaces clean and welcoming for guests to enjoy and feel comfortable in. Helped guests with information and requests. Cleaned rooms and common areas.
