Hey there 👋,

My name is Michèle and I’m from The Netherlands🇳🇱. I have been traveling for over a year now. Mainly I stayed in Australia. After this is went to Asia for a bit and my current location is in New Zealand. I really love to learn more about other cultures as well as to see different type of nature. That's why I really enjoy traveling.

I love cooking and baking and also do I love photography. Back home I play field hockey 🏑, which is also my passion. I have played this for over 11 years.

I have 2 older sisters. One sister is 23 years old and the other one is 26 years. Also do I have 7 cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛(don’t freak out) and 1 dog 🐕 So I love animals🫶

I have worked in the hospitality for a long time. I have worked in the service, I have lived in Berlin for my internship in hotelmanagement. Because of this I can speak, besides English and Dutch, German as well. And while traveling through Australia, I lived in Adelaide, working in a hostel as a receptionist.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

When I was 13-15 years old, I trained kids around 5-7 years in field hockey. I did this for 2 years.

When I was 16-17 years old, I worked in a restaurant in Rotterdam for a year. After this, I worked in a hotel in Berlin (18-19) for about a year. This was part of my internship. I was in the housekeeping department. Here I checked if al the rooms were cleaned properly. Also was I in the service. This is divided in multiple things: bar, dinner and breakfast. Last but not least were I in the front office, checking the guests in and out. But also just helping them in general. Of course you had to do a lot of things behind the scenes with money and preparing for other shifts etc…

When I came back after a year, I started to babysit kids between 1 - 7 years old. I have done this for a year. In the meantime I worked for 6 months in administration in an organic distribution centre. For the administration, I had to check and make the invoices. Also did I help the chauffeurs of different companies when they arrived, so they could pick up their fruits and vegetables without any problem.
