Beschreibung

Hi! We are Michaela and Lukáš, both 25 years old, living in the Czech Republic.

We met at our university studies a couple years ago and have been dating ever since. Currently we're finishing studies of general medicine. We both love to travel, so last year we decided to study half a year in Portugal through Erasmus. It was a lifetime experience. During that time we've traveled large part of the country together, learnt to understand and communicate basics in portuguese and took surfing classes. After this adventure we came up with idea to explore the world a little differently and decided to try workaway.

We're into nature, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, strength training, Lukáš grew up on judo and Michaela does tap dance and contemporary. We're desperate coffee lovers and like to explore new cuisines, especially when it involves seafood. We both love animals and have experience in taking care of a dog, rabbits and chickens.

We're positive, curious, love having fun, meeting new people and learning about their cultures and lifestyles. Therefore we'd love to work away at places we've never been to but always wanted to visit.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both study general medicine and except of the knowledge we got there we got skills communicating with all kinds of people. We are empathetic and like to listen to stories of other people. We both have many job experience. Some of them are for Michaela working in a warehouse for pet stores, working as a barista in a café and as a caretaker in the Covid-19 ward. Lukáš was working in a construction company (cleaning and preparing for floor renovation, transporting building materials) and as a health care assistant. Lukáš is the type who likes to fix broken things in the house. Michaela is the one who loves to cook and bake, but quite often we like to cook together and experiment (in Portugal we had our "Seafood Saturdays" when we prepared a specie of a fish we've never had before). Lukáš is from a small village where his family has rabbits and chickens in the garden, so we both have skills in taking care of them. Michaela had a dog that passed away last year and we both miss her now. So animals play a huge part in our lives. We speak fluently English and Czech, we're able to communicate in German and basics in Portuguese.

Was noch ...

We are adventurous, love to be outside, explore places we've never been to and have fun! We also like to chill sometimes a little and enjoy small things in life. :) We can safely say we're nice, friendly and easy to be around.
