Kia Ora,

We are a long term couple who left New Zealand in 2022 to experience the world and learn about different cultures and ways of living.

Until recently, we were living in a van full time while exploring Europe.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

A little bit about ourselves:
I (Jaf) am a quailified builder by trade and have worked in the industry for 10+ years.
My most recent role (before travel) was a project manager for a civil engineering company. I’m very active and know my way around tools and machinery.
In my spare time I like to go on hikes, Dirtbike riding, travelling and spending time with family.

Mere is a great planner and is very organised. She has a University degree in Management (Marketing/Accounting) and has worked for New Zealand’s largest retailer, Farmers, in multiple marketing and digital content roles. With this said, she loves to be outdoors and would like to gain new skills and be involved in projects which are more hands on. She also has a TEFL certificate (but has not put it to use yet) & loves children. Her hobbies include hiking, sewing, travelling and cooking.

While on our travels, we have worked a range of different jobs including festival work, working in a pizza truck, bar work and renovation/restoration work.

Un poco sobre nosotros:
Soy constructora calificada de profesión y he trabajado en la industria durante más de 10 años.
Mi puesto más reciente (antes de viajar) fue gerente de proyectos para una empresa de ingeniería civil. Soy muy activa y conozco bien las herramientas y la maquinaria.
En mi tiempo libre me gusta hacer caminatas, andar en motocross, viajar y pasar tiempo con la familia.

Mere es una gran planificadora y muy organizada. Tiene un título universitario en Administración (Marketing/Contabilidad) y ha trabajado para el minorista más grande de Nueva Zelanda, Farmers, en múltiples puestos de marketing y contenido digital. Dicho esto, le encanta estar al aire libre y le gustaría adquirir nuevas habilidades y participar en proyectos que sean más prácticos. También tiene un certificado TEFL (pero aún no lo ha puesto en práctica) y ama a los niños. Sus pasatiempos incluyen el senderismo, la costura, los viajes y la cocina.

Durante nuestros viajes, hemos trabajado en una variedad de empleos diferentes, incluidos trabajos en festivales, en un camión de pizza, en bares y en trabajos de renovación y restauración.

Was noch ...

We are very positive and outgoing people who love to meet locals, learn about different cultures, alternative ways of living and of course trying local cuisine.

We aren't looking for a specific project/job nor does it have to be directly related to our current skill sets. In fact we would prefer something different in order to learn new skills and to challenge ourselves!

We would appreciate an arrangement with accommodation included and some food (1 or 2 meals a day).

With this said, we understand that this might not be a suitable arrangement for everyone and are happy to discuss this. We are also more than capable of cooking the meals ourselves or for everyone (Mere enjoys cooking).

We want to create great memories with you!! Giving back to the communities we are travelling in while sharing beautiful and fun moments together is ultimately what we want from our experiences.

Somos personas muy positivas y extrovertidas a las que les encanta conocer gente local, aprender sobre diferentes culturas, formas de vida alternativas y, por supuesto, probar la cocina local.

No buscamos un proyecto o trabajo específico ni tiene que estar directamente relacionado con nuestras habilidades actuales. De hecho, preferiríamos algo diferente para aprender nuevas habilidades y desafiarnos a nosotros mismos.

Apreciaríamos un acuerdo con alojamiento incluido y algo de comida (1 o 2 comidas al día).

Dicho esto, entendemos que esto puede no ser un acuerdo adecuado para todos y estaremos encantados de discutirlo. También somos más que capaces de cocinar las comidas nosotros mismos o para todos (a Mere le gusta cocinar).

¡Queremos crear grandes recuerdos contigo! Devolver a las comunidades por las que viajamos mientras compartimos momentos hermosos y divertidos juntos es, en última instancia, lo que queremos de nuestras experiencias.
