Hi
My name is Melina, and I am 31 years old.
About two years ago, I decided that I want to spend as much time as possible at the ocean and in nature. So I gave up my apartment, bought a small van, built it to be a home, and moved in.
Since I have been traveling around. I like to spend longer periods of time in one place to be able to get to know the area and its people. I also enjoy having something to do - a task or a project. Likewise, I feel like volunteering or working somewhere helps me get a better impression of the place I am at.
During the last two years, I have been doing different things. I volunteered at a surf house in Portugal and on a permaculture farm in France. I worked at the organic food market in Germany and at the Christmas market. I also worked as a waitress there, as a bartender in France, and as a barista in the Swiss Alps.
I return to Germany every once in a while to do short-term theater projects. I studied theater in education at the university and worked at a theater for young audiences for several years.
Now I try to find a balance between my love for theater and my longing for freedom and nature.
I love to surf, I love to hike, and I love to ride a bike, but mostly to get somewhere :). I love vegetable gardens, and I am looking forward to having one of my own as soon as I feel like settling again. I love to mow the lawn, and I love coffee.  I love that I don't even have to leave bed in the morning to make myself the first one of the day. Sometimes I love the sound of rain on the roof of my van. I grew up on a small farm and love having animals around. I like to talk, and I like to listen. I also love to learn new things. I love the people I miss from home, and I cherish the experiences and new people I meet along the way.

Who knows? Maybe I will meet you somewhere along this path.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I like to cook and bake.
I have basic gardening skills.
I have helped with renovating a house before and converted my van into my home, even though I had help to do so. Due to this, the use of tools is not completely new to me.
I grew up on a farm, so I have a basic knowledge of handling different animals.
But my biggest skill is that I love to learn new things and usually pick them up quite quickly.
