Hi we are Mel (19) and Tobs (24), we are a couple from the south of Germany. We´re both huge animal lovers.
Last summer I (Mel) finished school and over some years I´ve been working at a ranch. Because of this and because my grandparents used to run a farm until 2020, I have previous experience with working with animals. I´m very inspired by art as well as psychology and dancing is one of the things that brings me the most joy. I would describe myself as an enthusiastic, friendly and also calm young woman who follows a vegetarian diet. So far about me...
I, Tobs, absolved a training as an information electronics technician and served about a year in the military. My interests are music, playing drums, darts and going to the gym. Also i love visiting concerts and festivals and in general i am a very happy, calm and patient guy.
Currently we both have some time to explore some foreign culture.
One of our main goals is to encourage our self development and finding new inspirations to enrich our lives.
Through WORKAWAY we had the chance to spend the last few months in Spain. We spent our time meeting inspiring people and helping them with farm work and gardening as well as restoration and general house maintenance.
We are now back in Germany and are very keen on to getting to know Ireland better soon.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
we both live in the country side, so we are used to maintaining around the house, helping in the garden and sometimes working in the woods. So you can definitely say that we don't shy away from hard work. In addition to such everyday tasks, we are also able to show our skills in renovation work, such as painting house walls or installing new sockets. Of course, we would also be very happy to learn new skills and expand our knowledge. Working with animals would be the most fun for us, since we also have some experience with it, we would be most happy about a workaway stop on a farm.
