Beschreibung

Melanie, French polyglot traveler, has been living out of France for over a decade (studying, working, currently travelling).

Irman, Indonesian underwater specialist and conservationist, has started travelling out of Indonesia in 2021 after having explore beautiful Indonesia itself.

And our little one born in 2022 and has started travelling, following her parents on adventure.

We are responsible travellers, passionated about outsides, nature, and submarine wonders - practising scuba diving (Irman is DM) and free diving (Mel is Assistant Instructor). And happy family too ;)

Our idea to travel and volunteer is slowly and nature-connected, been getting immerse in nature, contemplate, take the time and always learn more and new skills.

We have a dream project to have our house/ land in Indonesia and want to learn permaculture/ sustainable (bamboo?) building as this is in our vision..

Mel’s experience: permaculture farm in Java Indonesia, volunteering in art making (mosaic), gardening, painting. I have volunteered previously teaching, boat crewing, trash/plastic cleaning, maintenance or for coral propagation course.
Irman’s experience: permaculture farm in Java Indonesia, volunteering for conservation management, ocean conservation, diving, boat crewing, trash/plastic cleaning.have volunteered before for house rehab, maintenance, building.

On our free time we love to cook (food lover hello), we are very enthusiastic to explore the cooking with local ingredients mixed with local and traditional recipes from back home,
exploring around, be in water, go for a walk and do yoga/sport, and spend simple and beautiful times with friends. We intend to learn more on permaculture and more globally nature to have our green thumb shines !

Volunteering is right for us as we are very manual, in love with outsides and love to learn news things, so these will be incredible experiences. It also gives the good balance between working on personal projects and give back to the community and wonderful people we meet on our journey/ homes ! Also, as we are travelling as a couple, one can be available while the other take care of our little one. Or the little one can follow us easily as she's used to!
