Greetings from Turkey! 🇹🇷 As an enthusiastic individual who finds joy in embracing new challenges and adapting in new situations, I'm on a mission to add meaningful experiences to my journey through life. My name is Mehrad,I am 22 years old and I'm thrilled to connect with the Workaway community to contribute, learn, and create lasting memories.

About Me:
I've been born and raised in the historic land of Iran 🇮🇷 but have called Turkey home for nearly five amazing years. My current situation=> I quite my university life , took a backpack and started traveling :D

**Volunteer and life experiences**

🧑‍🌾farming: I spent a month volunteering at an organic farm where I had the opportunity to immerse myself in various aspects of sustainable agriculture. From caring for sheep, goats, and chickens to working in the fields and greenhouse, I gained valuable hands-on experience in every aspect of farm life. Whether it was tending to the animals, planting and harvesting crops, or maintaining the greenhouse, each task contributed to my understanding of holistic farming practices. This experience solidified my passion for sustainable living and reinforced my commitment to contributing positively to the environment. I'm eager to continue learning and engaging in similar initiatives as I explore new opportunities.

🐾 Animal Lover: Having dedicated time to volunteering in animal shelters, I've nurtured a deep connection with our furry friends. Whether it's providing care, creating enriching environments, or simply sharing moments of joy, I believe in making a difference in the lives of animals.

🌳 Fruit Garden Worker: Worked in gardens as a teenager and There's something profoundly rewarding about tending to nature's bounty, and I find joy in putting care and effort to nurture thriving fruit gardens. *not as volunteer

Bike-Packing Adventure:
🚴‍♂️ Two Wheels, Countless Memories: Picture this – traversing the diverse landscapes of Turkey on a bike-packing adventure that spanned over two months. It was a journey of discovery, resilience, and the sheer joy of exploring the beautiful corners of this country.*not as a volunteer

🤝 Passion for People: I thrive on interaction and learning from diverse perspectives. Workaway is my path to connect with fellow travelers, locals, and my future friends😉. Whether it's immersing myself in a new community, engaging with children, or contributing to projects, I'm eager to be part of something impactful.

Future Explorations:
🗺️ Tour over Turkey: With a deep love for Turkey, I'm on a quest to explore its cities and villages, absorb its culture, and make lasting connections. Every place has its unique charm, and I'm excited to uncover the stories each one has to tell.

🌍 Exploring the globe: This part is more of just a plan for future. After exploring Anatolia I want to continue my journey by making it world wide, so stay tuned😁

• Multilingual Teaching: Fluent in four languages, I'm passionate about sharing the joy of language learning. Whether you're curious about basics or eager to dive a little deeper, I'm here to make language learning a fun experience.

• Home and Culinary Expertise: Having lived independently since the age of 17, I've mastered the art of maintaining a clean and organized home. From daily tasks to overall household responsibilities, I understand the importance of a well-managed living space. Additionally, cooking is not just a task; it's a delightful experience for me. I enjoy creating delicious meals with whatever ingredients are at hand.

• Office Experience: During my first year in university, I got an office job in student affairs which may have been a bit boring but it equipped me with valuable organizational and administrative skills.

• Pet Care: I've had a really good time taking care of my brother's dog for an extended period. Understanding the challenges and joys of pet ownership, I'm familiar with the responsibilities that come with furry companions.

• Green Thumb: My childhood experiences on my grandparents' farm and garden instilled in me a love for working with plants. I can contribute to and appreciate the beauty of cultivating and nurturing nature.

• Child Engagement: Playing and communicating with children brings me immense joy. I have a natural ability to connect with young minds, making our interactions enjoyable and educational.

• Bike-Packing Expertise: Thanks to my bike-packing adventures, I've developed skills in fixing and maintaining bicycles. I'm also well-versed in the art of camping – finding the perfect spot, setting up camp, and preparing for memorable journeys.

• Tech Know-How: As a software engineering student, I possess knowledge about computers and consider myself a beginner programmer. I'm happy to share insights into the digital world.
This is just the beginning, and I'm eager to add more experiences to this list. I'd love the opportunity to exchange and teach any of these skills, creating a rich and mutually beneficial experience🤍

-playing ping-pong and other sports
-Engaged in video games, with a competitive background(not anymore).
-Watching YouTube content and quietly immersing in music.
-Learning new things through podcasts.
-Taking walks around the surrounding and exploring its beauty bring me peace.
-Occasionally, I relax by smoking(really rare).
