Beschreibung

We have just completed our studies in graphic design, specializing in ethical and social design. After 5 and 7 years of studies, we want to spend several months away from home to meet new people and contribute to projects aligned with our values. We aim to acquire new manual and intellectual skills while also learning a new foreign language. We are eager to discover different cultures while being mindful of the planet, which is why we have decided not to travel by plane. Instead, we plan to explore destinations close to France.

Maya: I also completed a year of training in culinary design. I love cooking and have a particular interest in the connection between ecology and food, as well as agroecology. I worked for two years as a graphic designer for an association dedicated to the development and promotion of trees in rural and agricultural areas. Growing up in the countryside, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Graphic design and cooking are two passions of mine, but I also enjoy other hands-on activities like sewing, knitting, and DIY projects.

Claire: I grew up in the countryside with a large vegetable garden, chickens, and a big family. I’ve always loved playing with my siblings and enjoy connecting and interacting with children. This led me to do a lot of babysitting throughout my schooling, starting at age 15. Being close to nature and curious to learn and discover different cultures, I want to get involved in meaningful projects that give purpose to my experiences. Since I didn’t have many opportunities to travel with my parents, I feel that now is the perfect time to start exploring !


During the months of May and June, we will be accompanied by Lucile, a friend with we do our studies and who is eager to discover the work-away experience in Italy.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We both have training in graphic design, which enables us to create a wide range of communication materials for your activities. We enjoy drawing inspiration from and working with locally available raw materials to (re)enhance and repurpose them. Passionate about art and photography, we travel with a high-quality camera and can offer this skill based on your needs.

We also love cooking, primarily vegetarian and seasonal meals (we are open to eating meat if it is locally sourced and/or comes from ethical farming practices). We would be delighted to introduce you to French dishes and pastries.

Claire has extensive experience in babysitting, especially with young children (from 6 months to 12 years old). Maya comes from a large family and enjoys spending time with children.

We are enthusiastic and attentive individuals, ready to lend a hand with various daily household tasks and adapt to different professional situations.
