Hello world!
We are May and Yahel, we met during a tour guiding course and have been learning and traveling together ever since.
We joined Workaway as we hope to see how life can be lived in different parts of the world, connect with new people, and learn from diverse cultures and communities.
We wish to apply these inspirational experiences to our home and shared life.
After completing a Permaculture Design Course together, our main interests in volunteering involve sustainable living and farming. But we are so very curious about everything that comes our way, and really grateful for any opportunities. We would be happy to help you and expand our knowledge while doing so.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
May: Since I was a child, I’ve felt drawn to the whimsical world of plants. It has always given me a sense of belonging and comfort. I’m grateful for the opportunity to deepen my experience and knowledge in plant medicine through the years, in a way that has become part of my everyday habits and mindset. I’m a certified aromatherapist and have taken a variety of courses in herbal medicine. I enjoy going on foraging walks, creating natural remedies and blends for care, beauty, and atmosphere. I try to stay aware of the plants’ beauty and generosity and to thank them for the abundance they share with us.
I would be humbled to learn about your country’s plant traditions!
As part of my interest in natural healing, and using our inner wisdom to take care of ourselves and our environment, I studied in a special holistic female care program that takes place in Israel. It combines knowledge from physical, mental, and spiritual health, drawing from both Western perspectives and traditional approaches. This journey gave me a broader understanding of the different stages of a woman's life, seen through the lens of our world’s endless cycle…
I worked in a variety of educational settings – from an alternative preschool teacher, a caregiver for toddlers, a tour guide for elementary school children, to a mentor for teenagers. I love being around kids as they give me the freedom to be playful. I find their world of honesty, imagination, and sensitivity fascinating and precious. When they see me as someone they can trust and rely on, I have the privilege of guiding them on their unique path. It is a very rare and meaningful experience.

We love learning, playing board games, hiking, and sometimes we tend to fall into philosophizing in general...
Yahel: I enjoy sports, especifically Soccer, Tennis, Table tennis. I also like working out.
May: I cook delicious vegan/vegetarian food, I LOVE pets, I enjoy designing interior spaces and making them beautiful- I have a strong appreciation for aesthetic :)
-We both have international driving licenses, and insurance.
