Mavis:
I am a passionate and adventurous individual from Hong Kong with nearly three years of experience working in kindergarten education. Driven by a desire to challenge myself and explore the world, I decided to embark on a journey of self-discovery, traveling across different countries for almost a year to immerse myself in diverse cultures and connect with local communities. My past experience has shaped me into a patient, optimistic, and adaptable person who thrives in challenging situations.

Fish:
I channel my creativity and skills into video editing and documentary filmmaking. With expertise in operating a camera and drone, I bring stories to life, capturing meaningful moments and crafting impactful narratives. My journey has also led me to gain hands-on experience in construction, excavator operation, driving, and mechanics, reflecting my eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges.

It was a pleasure to have Mavis and Fish stay in our home! They are both cheerful, positive people, full of initiative, independent and reliable ... and I really do hope our paths will meet again! Thank you so much for your company and hard work... it was more than I ever expected! ... I wish I was as wise as Mavis when I was 27 :)

We stayed in Ami's for around a month. It was our best workaway experience we had. Ami and Martin are very nice, we shared the culture and travel stories. They had been using workaway while they traveled so they know what we need and how we felt. Ho & Ching-Yu are polite and respectful people, and communication with them was easy and smooth. However, I believe it is important for future hosts to know that their approach to the Workaway exchange was quite independent. They preferred to spend most of their time in their private space and showed limited involvement in the daily tasks.

My experience with this host was quite mixed. On the positive side, the host is friendly, easy to talk to, and willing to help when issues arise, such as fixing the WiFi connection, which was initially unavailable in our room. Mavish and Fish stayed a few days with me and were very helpful doing all kinds of work I had in that particular time. When we got there we had about half a meter of snow. They helped me shavel open the way up to the stairs and clean the paths, carried the new sofa upstairs and brought the old one downstairs. Then they put the sofa together in the… read more

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Cave rooms at my lodge in ...)

Although we just stayed for few days, we are very happy to stay and hope we can stay longer. Tunlon is very polite and knowledgable man who are willing to share the historical stories and guidiences. The work was chilled and flexible, he really appreciated our works.
