Ciao, I’m Maurizio — Italian, born in Milan some time ago.

I'ld like to Thank you Workaway and those Hosts that allowed me to change my life style and living the life I love.

Over the past four years, I’ve and I still enjoying living and working as care for properties. I genuinely enjoy looking after spaces—keeping them clean, functional, and well-maintained. Whether it’s gardening, painting, small repairs, general upkeep, or ensuring everything runs smoothly, I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and proactive.

Living and working in the UK, Germany, and Spain has made me adaptable and open-minded. My earlier background in hospitality helped me develop strong people skills, flexibility, and a calm sense of responsibility. I’m used to managing different tasks independently and adjusting easily to new environments.
Today, I choose a more balanced and nature-connected rhythm of life. I prefer working during the day, staying active, and contributing in practical, meaningful ways.

I’m comfortable with:

• Cooking simple international meals, baking & preserving

Outside of work, I enjoy walking, swimming, cycling, stretching, reading, drawing, music, and creative projects. I love foraging for edible mushrooms (with knowledge and respect 🍄), and I’m definitely a cat lover — I enjoy their company and am happy to help care for pets.

I travel with my own vehicle, so I’m independent and flexible.

I value quiet environments, honesty, clear communication, and mutual respect.
I’m comfortable with solitude — for me, it’s not loneliness, but a meaningful way to reconnect, reflect, and stay grounded.
I feel most at ease in places where people live consciously and without drugs use or excessive drinking.

I’m self-sufficient, discreet, trustworthy, and loyal.
I take confidentiality seriously and always respect the space and privacy of others.
I’m looking for a simple, meaningful daily life close to nature — helping where needed, learning continuously, and connecting with good people.
