Hi! I'm Maud, from Belgium. I'm in a gap year and currently in Italy.

Beschreibung

Hi, I am a 19 year old belgian. I finished my secundary studies not long ago and I decided to take a gap year because I want to travel, discover new people, cultures and languages, as well as taking a break from school system.

Recently I went on a trip to Dublin (Ireland). I met people from all over, got to know Dublin and improved my English. I loved it but I realised the way of living was not so different to what I already knew. That’s why I'm happy to experience something totally new with workaway.

I really like doing sport, especially team sports. I've been playing soccer in a club for 6 years. I also enjoy quiet activities like reading, watching movies and do nothing in the sun. I've been a member of a scout organisation since I was a child.

I'm looking forward to meet new people and learn plenty of new things! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have some skills related to the fact that I have been in scouts for a long time: I know how to live in a community, I get by with not much and I have experience with children. I have been a group leader for 5-9 year olds and have done a lot of babysitting with 2-14 year olds.
I also know my way around computers as I worked in the administrative team of a cooperative as student job.
I have no other specific skills but I am motivated, meticulous and willing to learn on the spot.

Was noch ...

I forgot to mention two things : I enjoy cooking (meals and pastries), I cook often at home for me, my sisters and my parents. And I love animals, if you have any I would be happy to look after them.
