Beschreibung

A little about me, Matt, I am a 33 year old kiwi man, I have worked mainly as a carpenter (around 7 years) with some time as a landscaper doing landscape construction (around 2.5 years), and have managed teams in a warehouse/factory setting. I have also been a hobby mechanic throughout my adult life, always doing all my own maintenance repairs and projects. I am well traveled and during this time I have participated in several workaway exchanges. I am flexible and open minded and always happy to work in with hosts lifestyles and needs. Most recently I was working in Revelstoke from last October to this June building new passive residential homes for a company called adaptive homes. I am open-minded, independent, practical, reliable and hard working and can turn my hand to any work and take pride in doing so. I love to surf, skate, snowboard, wakeboard, camp, travel, build things restore things to list a few!

Was noch ...

I started traveling again post COVID in March 2023, spending time in Australia Japan Austria Switzerland London Iceland Norway Sweden Germany and France before arriving in Canada in October to start my two year working holiday visa, during this time I based myself in Revelstoke to make the most of the Canadian powder supply! I worked full time as a carpenter and snowboarded as much as possible and was also working for myself in some of my spare time taking on smaller projects both carpentry and mechanic jobs. Over this time I set myself up a truck and camper to travel for the summer and set off in it in June this year and have been traveling mainland BC before crossing to Vancouver island end of July and am currently based in Ucluelet working part time for a cabinet maker.
