Beschreibung
We are Sandra, 31, and Daan, 35, - a couple living in Berlin. We are generally an open-minded, easy-going, spontaneous and love to cook and create vegan/vegetarian meals, learning languages, reading as well as just enjoy conversations with people from different backgrounds.
Sandra is a fully qualified teacher for English (Foreign Language) and Geography at a high school but loves learning new things. She has traveled to a lot of countries around the world in the past decade while often backpacking, where she has done a lot of volunteer work in schools and a hostel but also helped in sustainability/conservation projects, fundraising and as well as creating a website.
Daan has lived in Uganda for 7 years, where he managed in an up scale lodge and hostel. This hostel he turned into the best hostel of the country. After that, he became a consultant for hostels. He can do everything for you, from creating and to manage finiancial backoffice documents to creating amazing menus and drinks that will make people flock to your place.

I am an English foreign language teacher and German Native speaker. I usually catch up with the basic vocabulary of languages in host countries wherever I go and have been learning French in high school (super basic skills left) as well as Spanish in university (bit rusty).
