One of my goals in life has always been to see Canada and finally here I am! I am a social person who loves to share stories and life experiences with people from all over the world. I enjoy mountain sports, from hiking to climbing, skiing to snowboarding when I can. I like music, reading and discovering new recipes. As per the Italian stereotype, I love food and have been a cook for a few years in my life. I am a vegetarian and would like to learn all the secrets of growing herbs, vegetables and flowers. I have taken a woodworking basics course and am interested in learning more. I am looking forward to a new adventure!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I worked for 10 years in the hospitality industry as a cook and waitress. These experiences taught me to interact with different people and to be attentive to everyone's needs. I lived in Amsterdam for three years, right after the Covid pandemic. I worked as a shift manager in a small factory in the city centre that produced customised mobile phone cases. I managed a team of 6-10 international people, defining their tasks and working together to fulfil daily orders. After two years, I changed jobs and worked in retail and customer service for an online company, then moved into wholesale for the same company. I learnt sales strategy and business accounting.
I recently discovered the art of woodworking, after building my own wardrobe out of an old wooden box I took a course on how to work with wood by hand.My hometown is a small village in the Italian countryside, we have a small garden where I helped my grandparents grow herbs and vegetables.

Was noch ...

I like playing cards and board games, but I'm not a competitive person, the point is to have fun!
I like volunteering, I did my first experience in Italy working with prisoners in a bakery, then I moved to Amsterdam where I volunteered in the Sea Shepard shop, and then I collected leftovers from the vegetable shop and took them to people in need.
