Hello World!
My name is Markus, i'm originally from Germany but was living in Iceland for the last 5 years.
I'm a screen printer with a bachelor's degree in media technologies.
Since 4 years i mainly work as an outdoors activity guide.
(hiking, boattours, snowmobiling,...)
But while travelling I gained also experience in other fields over the last few years, like:
farm work, house keeping, pet sitting, maintenance work, activities with kids, front desk, service, forklift driver, transportation, handyman, ...
I'm always open for new experiences and challenges to expand my skill set and improve.
In my free time I like being active and outdoors, hiking, climbing, cycling, being creative like doing music, drawing, taking pictures, ...

i like playing instruments and singing. i do a variety of outdoor activities like climbing, hiking, shooting bow and arrow, swimming, ...and a few more. Also i like photography and just being creative in any way!

His commitment to the tasks given and his ability to adapt to all kinds of work were outstanding. Needless to say that he was of amazing help at this important step. so far it was the first workaway experience that really felt like a real unique experience and adventure on all layers.
the accomondation was a cabin just for myself. i had to light the oven to keep the place warm, be very careful with the use of water not to waste...

i got the job by last minute and everything was just unproblematicas could be. from picking me up at the bus station to the accomondationand work ...just perfect. you share a house with other workawayers. and the… read more
