Beschreibung

My name is Marie, I am 19 years old and was born in the south of Germany. During my childhood my family and I had a lot of roadtrips and camping vacations. We were constantly in the outside exploring nature and sights. I still love to explore new places and especially get to know the people there and their way of living.
Aside from that I am a really active person, like to do sports (especially soccer and fencing) and be outside. So I can be handy as well in need of more physical work haha.
In my free time I like gardening, building stuff with my dad, painting and cooking new dishes with my friends :)
In general I would say I'm an open person who likes to engage in conversations with different people. I enjoy personal as well as more broad history.

I love adapting to a country's culture through its language as I believe that speaking and engaging in various languages opens new perspectives :) My mothertongue is german, I speak english as well, my french and spanish are pretty decent I would say though I plan on improving especially these two. Further I'd like to learn Italian and portuguese in the nearer future. But in general any kind of language is welcome for an exchange.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am great at doing art or building things, for example painting, photography and making various diy projects. As I grew up always doing garden work I am especially handy with garden projects.
Also I am a rather sporty person, have trained in fencing and soccer for many years. So I am quite good with more physical and outside work as well.
Personally I like to experiment in the kitchen, at the moment I love trying out indian food. In general I would say my meals are pretty decent, so no worries I can cook :)
Further I have experience with tutoring children in german grammar, as well as working in a shop as a general assistant.
My communication skills are pretty good, I am open to voice or hear about concerns and try to find solutions with the people surrounding me.

My experiences through Workaway include:
