Beschreibung
Hi there! I am a nature nerd from the UK who loves getting my hands dirty and meeting new people. I am also of Italian and French decent (and enjoy picking up new languages). I am currently taking a career break until September (from my day job in climate change adaptation) to explore diverse ecosystems, meet new people and make some on the ground difference. I am particularly interested in projects that are making an ecological and sociological impact...and in making new pals :). I have just enjoyed a 4.5-month trip to Kenya where I volunteered for two nature charities - my work involved tree planting, animal care/rehabilitation, grant applications, after school nature clubs for kids... and I learned from locals about organic farming too! My love language is cooking and I love trying new cuisines. Back at home I have an allotment (I love growing veg and am a no-dig, wildlife gardening enthusiast!). I also enjoy yoga, swimming and love hearing about new ways to exercise and enjoy nature at the same time.

I would be interested in improving my Spanish and Italian. I studied French up to a fairly confident level, but haven't practiced it in a few years, so would love the chance to refresh it (and can help to teach it). I can also help with teaching English.

I love music (and have been known to croon a tune if you get me in the right mood!), yoga, hiking, birding (and looking at critters, trying to identify them in general), putting my hands in soil, swimming, cooking, reading.
