Normally working in Germany, I took three months off to travel Colombia. I started end of December 2025 in Bogotá, Colombia and went from there.

Beschreibung

One of my life goals is to see as much of the world as possible, not just the places, but also to get to know the people and their cultures. I don’t want to be just a regular tourist. I want to immerse myself in the daily life of the locals and connect with new people. Right now one focus is also learning Spanish and I believe there is no better way to do that than being on location. In life and on my travels I want to leave the places a little better than I found them. That’s what motivates me to join volunteer projects. I prefer the sun and the sea or forests over the mountains. In general I enjoy both, peaceful nature and the occasional vibrant festivities and colorful lights that are typical of certain cultures.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have a background in automotive management and spent three years in Australia after I finished my degree. During that time overseas I worked on a banana farm doing irrigation, worked in a bar and at a car rental service. Back in Germany I focused on automotive assistance systems and sustainable electro mobility. Two years ago I transitioned into the education sector, where I focus on the STEAM field, organizing workshops and events for teens, students and adults . Throughout my life I’ve always worked at the intersection of technology and human interaction, enjoying both, learning and sharing knowledge.
I like hands-on tasks.
I’m an animal lover and enjoy staying active in my free time, especially doing sports out in nature.

Was noch ...

I do training on a regular basis .Most of the time I paddle in a dragon boat.
I enjoy singing and dancing, but I’m not doing that on a professional basis.
I can definitely see myself doing sports with kids/ young people in their free time to bring the community together.
I live in a shared house with a couple and their seven year-old kid. Our mantra is “sharing is caring”.
