Beschreibung

I am a Neuroscience and Psychology researcher and writer and trainee medical doctor with a fascination for neurobiology, meditation, mindfulness and self-development. I love travelling, making meaningful connections, being immersed in nature and everything food-related. In my down time, I also love running, hiking, walking, practicing yoga, dancing, singing and reading! I am a very positive and enthusiastic person who is always looking to learn new things and grow. I speak three languages: Spanish (mother tongue), English (native; I have lived in the UK for 9 years) and French (intermediate) and would love to share my knowledge, experience and culture with others.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Caring experience - I have extensive support/ care experience in a variety of settings and with people from different ages and backgrounds. I have worked as an Occupational Health Assistant in a care home where I supported elderly people suffering from neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Broca’s aphasia). As a Welfare Lead, I have also delivered proactive and in-crisis support (during 4-consecutive years) to students suffering from critical injuries, bullying, depression as well as more severe mental health issues. I have also worked as a Healthcare Assistant in the ITU and as a nanny of children aged 8-12.

Farm/Garden experience - My family and I have a house in the Spanish countryside and I have assisted my dad and grandad for as long as I can remember to take care of our vegetable garden, chickens, paint etc. (pretty much any handy task where help was required). I am a quick learner and hard-worker, so even if there is a task I haven't done it the past, I will give my all to deliver and do a good job.

Pets - I have also had many pets growing up and I love animals, so I feel confident helping with animal-related tasks (clean, water, feed, walk etc.).

Computer skills - I am well-versed in the following softwares: Qualtrics, SPSS, R, STATA, Microsoft Office (Advanced), MatLab, NVivo (Intermediate) and I am currently teaching myself to code on Python.

Administrative assistance - As researcher, I constantly manage multiple tasks quickly and efficiently, and work in environments requiring concurrent leadership and teamwork skills. I have also previously worked as a Project Administrator, so I am well equipped to provide clerical assistance.

Language - I can teach English and Spanish and have an intermediate level of French. I can also understand Portuguese and Italian, although my speaking level is basic.
