Beschreibung

Hi! We are Margarida and Eduardo, a Portuguese couple looking for a new chapter in the Netherlands.

Professionally, Margarida has a background in international admissions and recruitment, while Eduardo is a Mechanical Engineer. Our long-term goal is to build our careers in the Netherlands, but before taking that step, we wanted to experience everyday life, meet local people and contribute to meaningful projects through Workaway.

We see this as a genuine cultural exchange, not just accommodation. We're happy to help wherever needed and enjoy practical, hands-on work.

Margarida enjoys cooking, caring for animals, painting, and creative projects, while Eduardo loves gardening and outdoor work, and enjoys also DIY and maintenance projects.

Together we're reliable, hardworking, easy to live with, and always willing to learn new skills.

We're looking forward to meeting hosts, contributing to their projects and making this experience a memorable one for everyone involved.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Cooking - started by cooking sweets with my mom and grandmother, and transitioned to learning how to cook all types of dishes, including everyday recipes (including vegan recipes). I enjoy tasty dishes and cooking to get as much flavour as possible from all the ingredients.
Caring for animals - this is a natural feeling for us, as we have always been surrounded by cats and dogs. Taking care of these special creatures and giving all the love and attention they deserve it is a shared interest.
Painting and creative projects - not a recent skill, but Margarida has been creating ceramic plates, jewelry boxes, cups and bottle stands, and also painting, either on a smaller board or a larger one, like interior walls.
