Beschreibung

Huhu, I am Mara, 22, from northern Germany. I want to go out there and learn as many things as possible! It's the fascination of changing my view through new abilities, people's perspectives and unknown surroundings that let me find the courage to work and travel through Europe one year ago. Now, my best friend is staying in Peru and that is the opportunity to go there too! With me is my boyfriend and together we want to dive in the country by meeting nice people and get inspired by their projects! So let's get in touch :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Hey, I'm Mara and I'm passionate about crafting as well as other projects, that require creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.

I'm also always eager to broaden my horizon by learning new things.

As part of my voluntary year, I was working in a wood restauration workshop which followed also historical methods.
There, I have gained experiences in general wood working skills, especially with furniture. I feel confident handling tools and little machines (drill, grinder, band saw, flex, chop saw, multicut etc.) I'm also familiar with applying new surfaces (shellac, oil, wax, paint etc).
I gained insight into making marquetry, woodturn, stucco, historical truss, forging and sculpturing.

I have also worked in a local bike shop for a while, so I have some experience about repairing bikes, too.
I would describe myself as being chilled, flexible and open-minded. I can work on my own when I know what to do but also generally enjoy company.

I love to be creative in any ways. I discovered knitting, embroidery, urban sketching and hand carving for me - & I'd love to extent this list! Show me what you like to do :)
I am consistendly bad at playing society games - but I love it! Do you know Skat?
