Bonjour! Nous sommes Maisie et Joe, un couple anglais enthousiaste et motivé. Nous venons tout juste de terminer nos études universitaires (Maisie en Développement International) et souhaitons continuer à améliorer notre français. Nous avons tous deux de la famille en France et aimerions passer plus de temps dans ce pays que nous aimons, tout en découvrant de nouvelles régions.

Nous sommes faciles à vivre, ouverts d’esprit et nous aimons apprendre de nouvelles compétences, particulièrement dans les domaines du jardinage, de l’agriculture durable et de la vie en communauté. Passer du temps à l’extérieur, entourés de nature, est une vraie priorité pour nous.

Nous aimons lire, jouer aux cartes, faire du vélo, et nous ne craignons pas le travail physique. Nous sommes consciencieux, fiables et toujours prêts à donner un coup de main là où il faut.

Nous cherchons principalement des projets où nous pourrions participer aux tâches de jardinage, d’entretien, de culture, ou à des initiatives communautaires. Nous serions ravis de partager un moment avec nos hôtes, d’échanger sur nos cultures et de contribuer à vos projets avec enthousiasme.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

(Maisie) I am currently studying International Development and French. I would love to improve my French. I completed A-levels in Maths and Sciences. I loved growing up camping multiple times a year with my family which made me love everything outdoors. I have gardened at home but not on a large scale. I went volunteering in Nepal when I was 18, creating a water system for a remote village. This mostly involved a lot of digging but also constructing water taps with cement.
I really enjoy redecorating rooms and I am creative.
I have experience in hospitality and childcare and have just graduated.

I studied engineering in college from which I took away lots of practical knowledge and skills. I have a good general understanding of common household handiwork (electronics, plumbing, mending simple appliances) and enjoy tasks like this. I speak a little French and would love to improve if given opportunities to. I'm physically capable, and have thrived in jobs that require lots of heavy lifting. I'm competent in the kitchen and enjoy social roles.
