Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:
I am interested in language exchange, teaching English and Eurythmy (a movement art), traditional folk music and dance, helping out with gardening and cooking, and any other adventures that may arise!
Beschreibung
I recently retired from a career as a Waldorf elementary school teacher. I have taught academic subjects to children in grades 1 - 5, and Eurythmy, a movement art, to everyone from preschoolers to adult learners. In addition, I directed an after-school children's performance group. I was a long-time member of a professional performing group that specializes in presenting multicultural folk and fairy tales in Eurythmy.
In my spare time, I like to engage in Balkan and Near Eastern folk dance, language study, gardening, and reading. I was previously a member of a Turkish folk dance group and a Persian dance group, and I currently study traditional Greek folk dance.
In July 2022, I received my TEFL certification from Via Lingua Istanbul. I am planning to return to Greece and Turkey in the spring and perhaps make my first trip to Italy.

I am interested in teaching English, becoming more fluent in Greek, and taking my Turkish up a notch (in person!) I am currently at the B-1 level. I'm also interested in learning some Italian and Standard Arabic.
