I’m interested in meeting new people, seeing a lot of different places, experiencing a lot of different cultures and improving my surfing skills as well as staying at an adventurous family :)

Beschreibung

Hi I’m Lucy, a very adventurous girl from Germany. I love experiencing new cultures, languages and see different places all over the world! I’m new to Workaway and I’m planning to travel through different countries for half a year starting with volunteering in Bali, experiencing the Australien west and east coast, Hawaii and Canada. I’m very excited and would love to meet as many new people from different countries as I can to exchange stories and experiences. I love family life and working with children so I’m interested in staying at a friendly and adventurous family as well as taking care of children.

In the past I travelled a lot with my parents and friends, as a small child I lived in Jordan for a couple of months and learned English very early. At the age of 16 I left my hometown to study abroad for half a year. I stayed at a host family in Chilliwack, Canada and had a great time, met a lot of people and made new friends. I learned a lot during this time, that’s why I really want to travel again through countries that are very inspiring.

I love the ocean, swimming and surfing (which I would love to improve) but I’m also interested in arts and woodworking. The sport I’ve done during my school years was ballet, that’s why I love dancing. In general I really enjoy spending time in the nature, especially at the beach or in the mountains.

I’m always open to new people and would love to connect! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I love being creative and working around the house as well as gardening. I can cook already quite good but would love to learn different recipes from other cultures.

I really enjoy taking care of children, in the past I’ve worked at a shoe shop for children (where I had to interact with children a lot) and took care of children with different ages (2 years - 10 years).
