👋 Hello, we’re Lucie & Nicolas!

We’re a French couple (29 and 36 years old) currently traveling around Asia for one year — right now we’re in India since August.

Before this trip, Nicolas was a chef in a gastronomic restaurant in Lyon, and Lucie worked as a massage therapist. We decided to take this time off to live new experiences, meet people, and learn from different ways of life.

We’re easy-going, motivated, and adaptable, always happy to help where it’s needed.

🛠️ What We Like to Do

Nicolas:
– Cooking and sharing meals
– General help (DIY, fixing things, gardening, animals)

Nicolas worked in a factory for three years before becoming a chef — a job that reflects his love for good food and creativity. He once traveled across Europe for three months, enjoying the freedom of the road and the beauty of wide-open spaces. He’s sociable and easy to get along with, but also appreciates quiet moments to himself.

Lucie:
– Connecting with people
– Taking care of the garden, house, and animals
– Creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere

Lucie has a lot of experience abroad. She worked as an au pair for a year in Australia, then spent another year in New Zealand doing woofing on a farm. Her favorite country is India — she’s been there five times and always feels inspired by its culture and simplicity. She enjoys a return to the basics, connecting naturally with people, and living close to nature. She also spent six months on Réunion Island, hiking through its amazing landscapes.


We’re curious, hands-on, and not afraid of getting our hands dirty!

We both speak good English, and we’re always open to meeting new people and helping out in any way we can.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We’re both used to being active and helpful in everyday life, and we really enjoy learning new things along the way.

Nicolas loves being in the kitchen — cooking is really his element — but he’s also super handy and enjoys fixing things, helping with building or basic maintenance, and working outside in the garden or with animals.

Lucie has a calm and caring energy. She enjoys helping around the house, taking care of spaces, animals, and people. She’s also had previous woofing experiences on farms and with children, so she’s used to adapting to different rhythms and environments.

We’re happy doing simple things:
watering the garden, chopping veggies, cleaning, walking the dog, painting a wall, planting seeds, or just being part of the daily life of the place. We like when there’s variety, and we’re always ready to lend a hand with a smile.

We're just two curious souls taking time to slow down and enjoy the road.

Nicolas is happiest by the ocean, watching waves or taking photos of the little moments around us.
Lucie loves being outdoors, walking for hours, feeling the wind, the sun, and the calm of nature.

We enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, learning simple things, and just being part of the flow of a place — no pressure, just good vibes and open minds.

We’re not here just to “volunteer” — we’re here to live real, human experiences.
