Hey there! I'm Louis, 20, from Bristol in the UK and I am currently studying International Relations with a Year Abroad at the University of Leicester. I'm a prospective international exchange student going to the Uni of Calgary in late August. I can't wait to travel about Canada beforehand to meet amazing people and make the most of the summer months in Canada. I have indeed participated in previous volunteering projects, an example being maintenance of a permaculture community in south Germany, near Konstanz. My personal interests are music and cooking stuff. I want to contribute to communal projects and provide any assistance I can. Cheers!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
I have a long history of working at festivals (Womad, Green Man, Lakefest) and running experimental photography workshops for the general public with my father. I have worked with younger children for an extended period of time, helping out at local 'Beaver Scout' community clubs for my Duke of Edinburgh award.
I have taken part in volunteering opportunities with Civil Service International (SCI), working as a team in southern Germany in construction projects friendly to the environment. I have been lucky to have travelled extensively and enjoyed every place I have been to! I enjoy working with others to achieve any size goal put before us.

Louis was with us for 2 weeks in August. It was great fun hosting Louis, he was always eager to find jobs to do and completed them all very well. I spent around 2 weeks with Kerri and Eli, and had a great time getting to know Didsbury and beyond. Both made me feel right at home and made my settling into Alberta life super comfortable.
