Hi! My name is Loris, I’m 28 years old and from Italy, living between Turin and Sicily, where my family runs a small hotel. I studied philosophy and work as a journalist, but I also love cooking and sharing everyday life.

I like Workaway because it allows me to truly experience the daily life of a local family, to live and understand certain traditions—something you can’t get from a normal holiday in a hotel.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Cleaning obsession: I simply can’t go to bed if the dinner dishes are still dirty.

- Italian cooking: my pasta is the best in the world (yes, I can also make a perfect carbonara).

- Food gifts: I rarely arrive empty-handed—I usually bring cheese or condiments from Italy.

- I’m not very skilled in manual work, but I’m always willing to try—and at 1.85 m, I’m the specialist for reaching the top shelves.

- Driving license: I can drive, and as a true Italian I do it like a Ferrari driver (but safely, of course!).

Was noch ...

I’m a curious and thoughtful person, but also playful and cheerful in the right situations. I enjoy talking about philosophy, history, and culture… but I also like to laugh and joke over a good glass of wine. I keep an active routine (gym, reading, walks), and I believe the greatest value of Workaway is exchange: ideas, habits, and meals cooked together.
