Hi! I’m 30 years old and have spent much of my adult life living, studying, and working abroad. My journey started in Denmark, where I completed my bachelor’s degree, followed by an incredible working holiday in New Zealand. After that, I spent several years living in the United Kingdom, gaining both professional experience and a deeper appreciation for different cultures and ways of life.

Travel has always been a big part of who I am. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning from different perspectives. Whether it’s through everyday conversations, working together, or simply exploring a new place, I find a lot of meaning in connecting with others.

Professionally, I’ve built a career in finance, which has been both challenging and rewarding. However, I’ve reached a point where I’d like to take a step back, recharge, and reconnect with the things that inspire me most. That’s why I’ve decided to take a break and return to traveling — to experience the world in a more hands-on, meaningful way and hopefully rediscover my motivation and direction along the way.

I’m open-minded, adaptable, and always willing to learn. I’m happy to help wherever needed and look forward to sharing experiences, contributing positively, and creating memorable moments together.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I currently work in finance, but I have a strong hands-on background from years of practical work during my studies and travels. I worked for several years as a cleaner, developing attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

While in New Zealand, I worked on fruit orchards (kiwi, cherry, vineyards), helped with home renovations, and cleaned homes. I’ve also done WWOOFing and am happy to support with a variety of tasks, from gardening to general household help.

I’m a big animal lover—especially dogs. I’ve always lived with them and genuinely enjoy caring for them.

I’m also reconnecting with my passion for art, particularly abstract painting, with the goal of developing it further and sharing it with others.

I speak Latvian (native), English (fluent), and understand Russian and Danish.

Was noch ...

I’m a very active person and enjoy spending time outdoors. My latest hobby is snowboarding, which I picked up a couple of years ago. I also enjoy Pilates, hiking, being in the mountains, cycling, and relaxing at the beach—overall, I like to keep moving and stay active.

I love music and often go to concerts and festivals. Lately I’ve been into house music, but I also appreciate classics like Fleetwood Mac.

I enjoy reading as well—mostly books based on real events, like adventure books (Eat, Pray, Love / Into the Wild must be my favourite ones) , though I occasionally pick up biographies and stories about financial history too. And I never say no to a good board game evening with friends.
