Hi, I am Lina!
I live in Antwerp, Belgium and work as a spatial planner in Leuven. I enjoy being in different environments, ranging from busy cities, rural villages to remote areas. It has always been my dream to have a long experience abroad and get to know a region better, beyond the tourist experience. Therefore, I would like to be part of the daily life on a farm abroad through volunteer work. Learning about how to live self-sufficiently, the simplicity and tranquility appeal to me. Every year I do volunteer work at a local festival and I have already had a few years of work experience. I am a calm, driven and curious person and am always open to learning new skills and languages. I am communicative and flexible. I love walking in nature and adventure. I like reading, music and (vegetarian/vegan) cooking and have a great admiration for people who live in harmony with the landscape.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have good written and oral communication skills. I am social, ambitious and enthusiastic. In my job as a spatial planner I strive for an ideal world. I do a lot of desk research, but also come into contact with many different people, not only with my amazing colleagues but also external parties such as environmental officials, aldermen, mayors of various municipal governments and other spatial planners. At home I help out at a local music festival every year. I am sportive and have experience in teaching tennis to children between the ages of three and twelve. I like physical work to free my mind. I would like to learn more about organic agriculture and by extension permaculture. I like cooking and being creative. I play the saxophone. My native language is Dutch. I speak French and German at an intermediate and basic level, I speak English better, but would like to improve it by speaking it more.

Was noch ...

In my spare time I love visiting family and meeting up with friends, cooking healty vegetarian meals, baking, playing tennis, going for a run, cycling, hiking in nature, camping with friends, playing the saxophone, listening to jazzy music, reading and play all sort of board games. I would like to get closer to nature and learn more about organic farming, self-sufficient living and medicinal plants.
