Hi whoever is reading this

We've decided to come travelling again because we're trying to go with the flow and the stagnant brown water of the Thames isn't doing it for us. We're currently in Japan working on a farm and heading to Australia on a working holiday visa from the 13th November. From there, we will still travel around and visit new places.

As fun as our holiday has been, our intention is to dive deeper and immerse ourselves in new cultures and experiences. We think volunteering and getting stuck in will help facilitate that desire. While travelling around we've realised that our experiences back home may not have been as worldly as we thought and city living doesn't offer the kind of challenges or opportunity for growth that we think are possible elsewhere... that's a lot of words for "we wanna get our hands dirty".

So I'm the one writing this because I am an organisational machine which I'm sure will be invaluable to you. My powers of bureaucracy are only matched by my desires to meet new people and add to my growing list of friends from around the world. Don't let the jewels and the nails fool you - I've jumped out of planes and scuba dived with turtles (and if you don't believe me my Muay Thai training will knock some sense into you)

Zack
The ghostwriter of this profile, graphic designer, hostel manager, limbo champion and pottery teacher - there's not much that Zack doesn't do (except shut up). The ideas man behind our trip, Zack's a good help if you want to think outside the box and if you want that box picked up and moved somewhere else you should probably ask Zack as well. He's a bit like a dog- keep him fed, keep him dry and take him out twice a day and he'll be your loyal companion for life (and just don't neuter him!)
