I live in Brittany in France, I enjoy walking, swimming, gardening, housekeeping and spending time with my grandhildren.

Beschreibung

I am originally from London UK. I worked as a Nurse/ Nurse Manager for 30 years. I am married to Jon and have 3 grown and flown children and 3 gorgeous grandchildren.
I have lived in Brittany for 10 years and really want at this stage to give my French language skills a big boost.
I spend my days generally cooking and looking after my home and reasonably large garden. I enjoy cooking and I love being outdoors. I have 2 dogs and enjoy the abundance of wildlife and farm stock we have around us.
I walk approx 5km+ daily, I swim 3 times a week and I line dance. I am fit and well and I like being busy.
I am looking for French hosts who I can assist with their homes, gardens, animals, and who can in return assist me with my French conversation.
I would like to help for 2 to 4 weeks and am happy to travel home at weekends - therefore looking for venues 2-3 hrs max from my home whih is in Dept 22.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I was a Nurse for 30 years, 10 years ago we had a change of lifestyle came to Brittany and renovated an old farm into our home, 3 Gites and numerous garden areas - most of the renovations we did ourselves.
I am happy now to paint and decorate - I no longer plaster! I am very good with a strimmer and mower, I like pruning and garden tidying - I no longer dig!
I enjoy cooking and my husband still looks well on my offerings of the past 30+ years. I maintain a vegetarain diet but happy to cook meat for others.
Keeping home is not a chore - I like things clean and organised .
