Hey everybody!

We are Leonie and Sarah from Cologne, Germany. We've been living together as roommates for almost 3 years now and have decided to go to New Zealand together for our next big adventure.

A little bit about us:
We are both studying special needs education and have only one semester left until we finally get out master's degree. Obviously we love children and working with them and have tons of experience in this field. Also, we love animals of all kinds (but especially cats and dogs)!! We really enjoy cooking and baking and have a special love for Asian food. Generally we have a passion for traveling, learning new languages and about new cultures. Together, we often try to find fun outdoor activities and are active, openminded and energetic people :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are both studying German and English and both have a lot of teaching experience already. We both have been working in schools and other pedagogical institutions since our high school graduation 6 years ago. I (Sarah) even spent a year abroad in the USA working as an au pair. I took care of a (in the beginning) 14 month old boy for about 45 hours a week.

Next to my (Leonie) studies I completed a service dog training course which qualifies me to train dogs to become service dogs. Therefore I also have a lot of knowledge about dog communication, training with positive reinforcement and interventions between dogs and people. I have worked with dogs and children (schools, day care, fear intervention, etc.) for 2 years.

We have both been cooking and baking for a really long time now and we would definitely consider ourselves good cooks :). We really enjoy not only trying out new recipes but also cooking for others, such as roommates or family members.
