I'm travelling in the Balkanies since the start of February.

Beschreibung

Hi! I'm Léo, 23, a young French guy from Paris. In my hometown I did cinema studies, directed some music videos and shot documentaries. I also worked for production houses on bigger films, and live broadcasting of concerts as a technician.

It's been two years since my last trip, and I feel the need to take a break, disconnect and make new experiences.
I made an interrail trip in 2020 with not much but my backpack during a month. I didn't knew workaway at that time, but thanks to couchsurfing and a bit of luck I managed to find the nicest people on earth to host me in Denmark, Poland, Romania, Greece and Italy... This made me fall in love with the cultural exchange of being warmly host as a foreigner by open-minded local people. This gave me the desire to help them in pushing their own personal projects anytime ! That's why I'm very curious about pushing it to the workaway experience.

I consider myself very curious, open minded and talkative.
I enjoy a lot nature and adventure. I feel that talking around a drink or hanging around in different places with different peoples is my way of enjoying life. But I also like to be alone sometime doing bike, hikes or getting warm near a fireplace, far away from human civilization.
Definitely what is sure is that I want to travel and discover other cultures as much as possible !

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I worked 3 years as a cinema technician. I'm mainly competent with cameras and microphones, but I also had to work with lights which allowed me to learn some of the basics in electricity. Then I started to produce and direct my own projects. I also have skills in editing and know how to use a lot of video softwares.

This year I gave lessons on various numeric arts to groups of children between 12 to 18. I had them discover cinema, graphic design, animation, video games and a bit of 3D. I enjoyed sharing my passion with those kids, and I'm willing to make that experience again in a close future.

I consider myself to be green thumbed, even though I don't have big experiences in gardening or farming. But I want to earn skills and connect more with nature.

Was noch ...

I love to ear music in all kinds of ways (gigs, festivals, clubbing...) and all kinds of genres (from rap to electro passing by funk, soul, rock...). I have to mention that I play the guitar, it'll be a pleasure to share and make you learn !

I love skating. I even played Ice hockey few years back.
