  Hi, we are a family of 3, living at the edge of the second biggest city in the Czech Republic in Brno. My name is Dasa and I am currently on maternity leave with my 4 years old son David. I also work from home - I teach private English lessons. My husband is a soldier. We travel a lot and all of us we love sharing culture and learning languages. We try to live healthy mindful life.

  You can enjoy getting to know Brno which is a really beautiful and lively city full of culture with a lot of things to do. As I´ve been living here for ages, I can give you many tips to see not in the guides included but fascinating places (secret underground in Brno, the most beautiful library or the best chocolate shop in the world :-)). By helping us you will get to know an everyday life of a Czech family. We would be more than happy to share our culture as we are very interested in life in foreign countries. My husband is a great cook, so he can teach you how to cook some typical Czech meals.

  Arbeit

  I would like you to spent time with my son David. My son is an unschooler (he doesn´t go to any preschool), so I would like to show him the world from a different perspective. I want him to get to know people from various countries and cultural backgrounds and to have an opportunity to learn English or any other language naturally. He understands English perfectly, he doesn´t produce the language yet though.
  
  We are looking for a responsible person who loves children and playing with them. It would be great if you could play together with my son around 3 hours per day. The time can be flexible according to your and our plans. You don´t need to create any activities, he will involve you into his games. He loves playing police, hide and seek, he plays very often with trains, cars and lego. Or he simply likes running around the house in the garden. I/or my husband, we will be always around. My son is shy first few hours, but then he becomes really friendly. He is very respectful to others needs and it´s easy to get on well with him.
  
  There might be other things in/around the house I might need your help with (cleaning, cutting grass, a bit of gardening),whatever is needed and you would like to help with.
  
  Please note, it´s essential to speak and to understand English very well.

  Unterkunft

  You would be in a private room with a bed, balcony, wardrobe and air conditioning/heating. It´s on the second floor where we have a bedroom and an office too, so this bathroom would be shared. You can have your own bathroom (but downstairs and it´s used by children during the day). We´re fine with you having your own program after helping in the house as well as participating in our family activities. We have a cat who is partly outside and partly inside. She is very calm and she is so happy when somebody wants to caress her.
  
  I cook every day, so we will provide you with lunch. Feel free to use our supplies to prepare breakfast and dinner for yourself.
  
  There is a garden around the house and it´s just few steps from a forest, so you can enjoy also nature in the city. The house it´s approximately 20 minutes from the city center. There are a lot of buses and trams going to the center. Close to our house, there is a lake, river and a lot of nice walks around. There is an excellent café, shops, restaurants etc. 10 minutes walking from our house.
