Hi everyone! 😊

I’m a 27-year-old woman from Austria, who loves spending her summer holidays discovering new places and ways of life. Having already travelled around the world and spent most of that time staying with Workaway hosts, I’ve gained quite a bit of experience when it comes to living together as a host and a volunteer.
My Workaway adventure actually began quite by chance, and I soon realised that it’s the very best way for me to travel. I enjoy becoming part of families, getting to know their way of life and their philosophy, immersing myself deeply in the country’s culture, and taking home more than just photos from my travels.
I´m a responsible, kind-hearted, creative and open-minded person who enjoy talking to people and getting to know different cultures.🌏

I finished my education to a kindergartenteacher and worked in this job almost one year after. After studying at the university I now work as a speech and language therapist with kids. I work intensively with child development and with different concepts to accompany children between 0-6. In my job, I support educators in dealing with challenging children oder children with special needs, advise parents on child language development and do therapy with children from 0-15. An appreciative and empathetic approach is especially important to me.

My grandparents also ran a farm until recently, which is why I am familiar with the daily life and tasks on the farm and in dealing with animals. We have a large garden at home and grow our own fruit and vegetables there. Everything is organic and I really appreciate the opportunity to cook and eat home-grown food! 👩🏼‍🍳😋

In my free time I play some flute and guitar🎸, sing - no day is passing by without a catchy tune 🎶, lift weights, do pottery and horseback riding 🏋🏼🏇🏻.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Taking care of children and teaching them is part of my job and fortunately, I would say that´s my passion. 🫶🏻

Taking care of animals: I grew up on a farm with highland cattles, chickens, cats, a horse and a dog. I´ve been riding since I was 6, so I would say that I´m espacially familiar with handling horses. 🐴

Help in and around the house, cooking, general maintainance... I´m willing to help wherever I can and will be just an extra pair of helping hands. 😊
