Hello my name is Yvette and I'm from the little island of Jersey in the English channel. I am currently travelling central America and looking to experience different life styles of life in new places around the world. Back in the UK I was a nanny for young children but very much looking to spend more time with animals, nature and community at this time. I love cooking and gardening, having grown up on a fruit and veg farm I have a love for natural homegrown food made into delicious meals. Animals are a real passion of mine, the more the better especially if they are dogs. I always try to be a positive person with a smile on my face and easy to talk to, coming from a very big family my communication skills have always been good. I have a good work ethic and happy to help when ever needed in what ever tasks asked. Hoping to meet interesting like minded people along my way learning, growing and laughing through life.

I am passionate in the work i do and like to take on a challenge, my main skill set is in child care, art and more recently permaculture . However outside of work i love to get involved with many different activities such as;

Was noch ...

I have been introduced to permaculture during my travels and have fallen in love with the life style really seeing it as a pathway in my life from now on. With having vollenteered on a few permaculture fincas now my knowledge has grown more and I'm excited to learn more from people and mother nature.
I love open minded conversation and exchange of opinions and this is a great way to learn about people and life. I'm definitely a social person so really enjoy being around people.
I have an active lifestyle and love to dance, swim, play music and generally skip through life.
I really enjoy long walks/hikes in nature and just being in it in general. Having always wondered what it would be like to live in nature and have a sustainable life I really hope to experience this during my travels.
Kagi is my dog who is still young, i met her 2 weeks after she was born on the finca I vollenteered at and we fell in love and are taking on this journey now together. She is super friendly with people and loves the company of other animals, making friends even faster then I do.
