Hi everyone!
I'm Layla and I'm 21 from New Zealand but I’ve mostly been on the road since 2022.
I'm a young, very dedicated, worker.
i'm a bit of a free spirit whose wandering the globe enjoying connecting with individuals from all walks of life. Travel is something that constantly inspires me alongside learning about other cultures, traditions and religions and styles of life.

I tend to be described as a social butterfly as human connection is a crucial part of how I live my life however, i also am greatly independent and enjoy the slow-paced lifestyle as well.

i enjoy yoga, hiking and spending each waking second outdoors in general. My goal is to read more (isn't everyone's!). I love to play around in the kitchen and get creative.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

After graduating high school 2022, i took my first gap year. I began my journey with my Mum to rural Nepal where we volunteered for a charity that builds earthbag schools. Our main tasks were to help paint the classrooms, mix cement and interact with the community.

Shortly after, I started Au Pairing in London where I looked after an 18-month-old child for 6 months. This allowed me to take full responsibility for the child, gaining skills such as feeding, diaper changing, schedule creating etc.

I have also spent time in schools around the world helping teach basic english.

Back in my hometown i have previously worked as a hotel housekeeper which provided me with skills to create a clean and inviting environment for the guests.

I also spent a season working in an apple pack-house. This involved lots of manual labour.

I also have experience in Animal sitting and dog walking.

I have done quite a bit of farming experience both back home and while travelling.

I pride myself on my resilience and my can-do attitude towards new environments and situations.
