Hi there, & welcome to my profile!
My name is Lauren Emiddio, and I am a traveler from Long Island, NY! I love the ocean, spending time in nature, hiking, trying new things, learning/laughing with people and practicing my Spanish! I have traveled to countries in Central America including Costa Rica, Guatemala and Mexico, for 3 months staying with local host families and improving my Spanish! I recently walked 250 miles of the Camino De Santiago by myself, after spending 2 weeks at a Workaway in Asturias, Spain. I am a very warm and friendly person, but I am also quite self-sufficient! I prefer to keep my living space clean, eat healthy food and stay active. I am an Advanced Open Water scuba diver, and have done lots of diving in the Caribbean! I am currently enrolled in university online, and I plan to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies next year!

- I have experience photographing action sports such as surfing and hockey, nature and travel scenery
- I am able to create social media content including video reels
- I worked on a sustainable eco farm in Guatemala for 1 month where I weeded and fertilized crops, painted, and fed animals including puppies, kittens, rabbits and chickens
- Over 5 years of experience working as an ice skating instructor for children of all ages
- Over 4 years of experience working in customer service, answering phones calls, emails, handling large monetary transactions and running social media pages
- CPR / AED / American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified

I absolutely love animals, and have lots of experience owning and taking care of rabbits specifically. Sunshine, the sea, and eating fruit right off the tree are some of my favorite things!
