Hello world!
My name is Laura, I'm from Bolivia and I'm 36 years old.
There are no borders, a friend told me once, so in that way, in 2019 I started - and I hope so - my life as a traveler, as an adventure and also as a way of life.
I was living in Suez-Egypt volunteering and I would like to know more places in Egypt and other countries as well.
I'm an active person who enjoys going outdoors. I have a strong passion for the environment projects. I love exploring new landscapes and trying out new things. I learn skills quickly and I am eager to learn new things.
Through Workaway I want to share with families, people who cross the road, learn of them and also contribute with knowledge and skills.

I hope that these skills let me perform a good volunteer:
*Engineering- I have learnt and developed my engineering skills over a period of 5 years as a professional electronic engineer and as an aircraft maintenance technician.
* Computer Skills - I'm proficient in computer usage and also know the important Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Teaching - Worked as an assistant of teaching Spanish at Shamsia Space in Suez, Egypt.
* Social and Volunteering - During my time in Egypt, I also worked on non-poverty projects helping to recycle clothes, shoes and toys.
I have participated in projects with women helping in the formation of "women's organization" in Bolivia and I participated in women empowermet project at Shamsia Space in Suez, Egypt.
I like to work with ecological projects. I have also participated in campaign projects and garbage recycling, environmental care work.
* Cooking and home care - Volunteered as a kitchen assistant, home maintenance, and elderly care as the person in charge of identification cards.
* Farm work - Experience of working on farms, planting and harvest of vegetables and fruits.
*I have 19 between nieces and nephews and I loved to take care of them when they were child. That makes me comfortable minding kids.
I've been living in Ireland for 4 years learning English and working in differents areas like waitress, cleaner, elderly care, kitchen porter, kitchen assistance, hospitality, and as an electronic technician.
All these experiences have not only helped me develop my professional skills but also my personal skills in handling responsibilities, problem solving, teamwork, learning, multitasking, and adaptability. I really enjoy share with people, we can learn a lot of from each other.
