Beschreibung

My name is Laura, I'm from Australia and will be travelling from October. I’m excited to experience and learn about different cultures, and I feel Workaway is such a beautiful way to meet local people, build connections, and gain a deeper sense of the way of life in each place I visit.

I’ve always loved cooking, and one of my dreams has been to travel and learn authentic recipes from different regions of the world. If you’re open to having me alongside you in the kitchen, I’d be very grateful and keen to learn.

Nature is where I feel most at home, I love camping, swimming in rivers, sitting by trees, and observing animals. The simple things bring me so much joy, and I believe deeply in nurturing our connection to the natural world. for years now I have lived in places that are immersed in nature and I understand the importance of nurturing that connection and way of life.

I’m a newly qualified holistic counsellor and am always curious to keep learning. At the moment I’m especially interested in herbal remedies and somatic practices that I can integrate into my work. I’ve also been exploring creative hobbies such as photography, writing, botanical clothes dyeing and jiu-jitsu. I'd love to learn some new creative practices like ceramics if I can!

I’m really looking forward to the chance to share skills, learn new ones, and be part of daily life wherever I stay. Workaway feels like the perfect opportunity to do this as well as being able to give back to those kind enough to have me :)
