Hey!
I'm Laura, and I love to travel, explore the world, and have as many experiences as possible! My hobbies are pole dancing and dancing in general, Surfing, Judo, Crossfit, and Yoga. But I love painting and reading too!
Since I'm from the South of Germany, I'm landlocked and can't go surfing. That's a huge point why I love to travel to beautiful coastlines where I can surf!
I just finished my Bachelor in English linguistics and philosophy. I would like to work during my travels (in the best case as a Yoga teacher) to gain international experience, expand my practical knowledge, improve my language proficiency, and of course make new friends!
My native language is German, but I can also speak English fluently, good French, and a bit of Spanish.
I have quick comprehension and high motivation, and I think I can adapt quickly to different work forms because I am service-minded. In addition, I have five years of experience working voluntarily as a judo trainer for the kids in my hometown, and I have a sports trainer and Yoga certification. I also did childcare at a school in Regensburg and I also worked as an English teacher in a nursery school. Through that, I developed and increased my communication- and good interpersonal skills.
Moreover, I also worked as a girl-for-everything for five weeks (cleaning, preparing breakfast +dinner, promoting parties) in a surf camp in Spain and spent almost two months working at the reception in a hostel in Cape Town.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I would prefer to help with a social project, maybe with kids, like teaching them English or doing sports with them. I am also a certified fitness instructor and Yoga teacher and would love to teach!
But I also would love to help in a Hostel because there you can meet a lot of like-minded travelers.
