Hello!
My name is Laura and I am a medical student, studying in Aachen (Germany). I only have the practical year (which is the last year of my studies) ahead of me and want to use my remaining free time to explore south america a little bit before I start working. I love the language and what I heard from latinamerican friends about the cultural differences in their countries. My biggest passion apart from medicine is definitely music. I love playing the piano, playing the guitar and singing. I am a reflective and thoughtful person for whom it is important to do meaningful things. Also I am a really friendly and open person who would love to make new experiences with new people and especially practice spanish!

Me llamo Laura y soy estudiante de medicina, estudio en Aachen (Alemania). Sólo tengo por delante el año de prácticas (que es el último de mis estudios) y quiero aprovechar el tiempo libre que me queda para explorar un poco Sudamérica antes de empezar a trabajar. Me encanta el idioma y lo que me han contado mis amigos latinoamericanos sobre las diferencias culturales de sus países. Mi mayor pasión, aparte de la medicina, es sin duda la música. Me encanta tocar el piano, la guitarra y cantar. Soy una persona reflexiva y pensativa para la que es importante hacer cosas significativas. ¡También soy una persona muy amable y abierta a la que le encantaría vivir nuevas experiencias con gente nueva y sobre todo practicar español!

I speak English and German fluently and could teach others. I also speak Spanish relatively fluently, but I still have a lot of room for improvement and would like to become even more fluent. Was könntest du arbeiten?

Through my medical studies, I have already gained a lot of experience in responding to the needs of other people and helping them. I would also say that I am a good listener and it is important to me that those around me feel comfortable. Even though I have lived in the city for the last few years, I come from a village so I know a more rural environment. I am suitable for basic household and gardening tasks. I also love animals very much and would be very enthusiastic to help take care of animals, even though I don't have super much experience with them yet. I speak fluent German, (native) English (C1) and Spanish (B2) and would be happy to pass on knowledge in German or English and would be happy to become even more fluent in Spanish.
In my free time I give piano lessons. Besides the piano I also play the guitar and sing. I already have experience with improvisation or in recording. So I would also be very motivated to teach someone or make music together!

Gracias a mis estudios de medicina, ya he adquirido mucha experiencia en responder a las necesidades de otras personas y ayudarlas. También diría que sé escuchar y que para mí es importante que los que me rodean se sientan cómodos. Aunque he vivido en la ciudad durante los últimos años, procedo de un pueblo, por lo que conozco un entorno más rural. Soy apta para tareas básicas del hogar y jardinería. También me gustan mucho los animales y me haría mucha ilusión ayudar a cuidarlos, aunque todavía no tengo mucha experiencia con ellos. Hablo con fluidez alemán, inglés (nativo) (C1) y español (B2) y estaría encantada de transmitir conocimientos en alemán o inglés y me encantaría adquirir aún más fluidez en español.
En mi tiempo libre doy clases de piano. Además del piano también toco la guitarra y canto. Ya tengo experiencia con la improvisación o en la grabación. ¡Así que también me motivaría mucho enseñar a alguien o hacer música juntos!

I do a lot of sports in my free time (swimming and gym) and love to hike.
