Beschreibung

Hello! We are Laura and James! We're 27 and 29 and have recently both quit our jobs in England to travel the world! We are an outdoorsy and active couple and we are looking for our next adventure together. We have been on holiday together to some very exciting places but are now living the dream of open ended travel to new destinations together. We have no fixed plan of where we want to go or where we want to end up. We are in it for the adventure and the journey. Both of us love meeting new people and soaking up the authentic culture of the country and would love to "live like locals". We're hardworking and would love to learn new skills and share skills we already have! Both of us are qualified English teachers for students with English as their second language.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Laura is a qualified lawyer and TEFL teacher. Laura also has a passion for cooking and making healthy meals.
James is Dutch and also fluent in English. James is also a TEFL teacher. James has worked in the general trade and labour industry and is very hands on with work and can operate forklifts.
Both of us are very active and energetic and can be put to a good day's work!
We were both Foster parents at home, qualified to look after ages 0-18. Our Foster placements included a 16 year old girl from England and a 13 year old asylum seeker from Afghanistan. We would be great looking after children in families.
James was an international cricket player a few years ago, playing for the Dutch team. He has qualifications as a cricket coach and has spent summers abroad teaching and coaching cricket to kids!

Was noch ...

We are hardworking people and won't let our hosts down. If we say we will be somewhere, we will be there...on time! We are looking to immerse ourselves in the true culture of each county and give something back to the local community. Our workaway placements will not be treated as a free holiday and we look forward to meeting you :)

  Laura has an allergy to peanuts, peas, chickpeas and lentils. It's not anaphylaxis but she is not able to eat these foods. All other legumes and nuts are fine :)

  Spezielle Ernährung
  We are both vegan! We are happy to share kitchens with meat and dairy eaters and happy to have dinner at the same table too. We will just prepare a separate meal if necessary! We'd love to share delicious vegan recipes with our hosts and other guests.
