Beschreibung

Hello, we are Gaelle (really an unpronounceable french name sorry, it is like [gail]) and Laetitia :)

We are really excited to start our journey in january 2026 from France to India wihtout flying!
We wanted to travel, but not just for tourism — we wanted to give something back to the people in the countries we visit and to learn from the people who are actively working to solve environmental or social challenges. That’s how our travel project "Humandala" is born, made of workaway experiences and volunteering in NGOs or engaged organisations to learn, contribute, and take part in meaningful projects along the way. Our goal is to learn about sustainable solutions, including social improvements, and to inspire others to reconnect with people and nature by sharing our journey.

Laetitia : I grew up in Morocco and studied in France. I love traveling, so after my studies, I spent several months exploring South America. For me, traveling is the best way to learn about myself, discover the world, and become more open-minded. I truly believe in the power of travel and in the impact of meeting people from all over the world.

Gaelle: I am a very adaptable/easy-going person and always excited to discover new places, people, knowledges and skills. I like to take care of the people and things around me. I usually spend my spare time practising sports (squash, surf, running, trekking), I would be more than happy to share it with you or to teach you if you want :) of course, I like to spend time with friends, share and laugh! And I appreciate also being alone and quiet times.

We will be more than happy to meet you, help on your project, and spend good times together!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Gaelle : I was an engineer in the construction field but in 2019, I decided to engaged in a NGO in India for 2 years as a coach for excluded youth in order to help them find a job and improve their professional and social inclusion. Then I worked again for a NGO of which the goal is to turn the construction sector into a more ecological and social field.
I am passionate about sustainable solutions, espacially eco-building, but also everything that reduce our impact as humans; and "sustainable" includes taking care of people, social equality for me also. I wish to learn a lot about all those solutions during our journey!

Laetitia : I don’t have specific skills in permaculture or eco-building (yet!), but I’m very eager to learn. I do have experience in project management, hospitality and social communication — happy to help if needed!
