Adventurous and enthusiastic, ready to help and learn!

🙋🏻‍♀️🇪🇸Hi! I'm Alex, a 33-year-old Spanish woman.
I've decided to create a Workaway profile because one of my passions is traveling and learning about new cultures. (Im new here, so I would be updating my profile!)
Although my training and profession are in psychology, I consider myself a very restless mind, so I have experience in multiple fields! From the field of mental health to embroidery!

🕵🏻‍♀️🌍I am looking for opportunities to immerse myself in interesting projects and meet new people.

👉🏻I define myself as a responsible, adaptable, calm, and clean person, and I am always willing to give my best.

📚Experience: Training and profession as a psychologist, with studies in pharmacy and early childhood education.

* Volunteer at a personality disorder association
* Volunteering in Lamu (Kenya) working on women's empowerment, Diakene Oulof (Senegal) (cultural immersion in a cultural association) and soon Busua (Ghana) (school support).
* Participant in Erasmus programs - Arts and resilience (Ommen, The Netherlands)

🧠🫀Interests: My demeanor is calm, but my mind is not! I have always been very restless intellectually and I consider that Workaway can be a great learning experience. I love to nourish myself in the interaction with people, get to know them and learn from their ways of life and cultures.
💬 I speak several languages, Spanish (native), English, French, and am learning German at the moment (I can understand Portuguese and Italian).

In addition to all of that, Iam interested in everything related to mental health 🧠(adult and child), I am passionate about the 🎨🧵🧶arts, especially embroidery and crochet. With the intention of creating a community, I created a group of women that I lead with great pride and love.
🌱🏋🏻‍♀️Sport is a constant in my life, I like to take care of myself physically and I love to eat a healthy diet, at the moment I do boxing and yoga, but I am not closed to trying new things!

😻🐕Regarding the animal world, I am mother of a very affectionate Sphynx cat, and a very obedient German shepherd. I am familiar with the treatment of a wide variety of animals since we have always liked them and we have had them in my family!
